Hi All, I've been collecting & comparing prices of many home appliances from various dealers lately. Hence, i thought it might be useful for me to share with others on what i've gotten so far. However, to make this thread beneficial to all, we need to make this sticky and request contributions from all other members to keep this updated. Electrolux Cooker Hob Model: EGG9430KCG 3Burner with small, medium and big type of fire. Bought from Aik Leong Electrical at Blk 121, #01-16, Jalan Bukit Merah Lane 1 Tel: 62719365 Pirce: SGD294nett
My suggestion for Cooker Hood is better not to buy because it take alot of effort to clean it.

Hi, if you are searching for Fridge, Washing Machine, etc, take down the type of Brand, Model, Serial No., prices. Then head down to Federal Electronics Pte Ltd 217 / 225, Jalan Besar, Tel : 6273333. - the price quoted by them is better than other shop / shopping ctr.

hi Everybody,
Last Nov to this year Feb I've also gone shopping for appliances, I've checked out the big stores, neighbourhood's stores and some so called very cheap store. However, from my experiences, only if you're prepared to be very patienced with the smaller neighbourhood's store, their services level are not as good as the bigger store. If you compare the prices you'll realised that the free gifts; after-sales warranties; after-sales services are very much different between the small stores and the big ones. The best deals are those special promotional items for big appliances like LCD TV; Fridges; Washing machines; aircon; etc.., so basically you've to monitor daily esp during the Fri and Sat advertisements, made a decision and never check the prices again as some items like LCD TV, the prices keep dropping by about 15-20% every 2 months! but then the latest models will come with better features but will also cost more. So my point is that, at the end of the day, just buy from whoever can offers you the best deals with acceptable services, for your selected model of appliances within your budget and never regret. As for me, I've bought appliances from Courts; Best; Hoe Kee; Natural Cool; Hock Hua; Monsoon. Just my 2-cents worth!

wah...i also have the same opinion as you. I always read the newspaper for special deals. sometimes the deal can be real good. for my i already bought my Samsung 40" HD ready TV $1388 and LG 6.5kg washer $199. Also got my panasonic system 3 from NaturalCool at $1729. this should be the cheapest price around compare to other place selling at $1900++. Well, now Tecno has warehouse sales for this weekend. Good to go there to get some small appliances like slow cooker, vacuum cleaner, etc. Cooker and hob wise, I don't think it is really cheap unless you buy their display sets.
