The golf driving range project has been dropped by the present developer. Punggol.org Forum member jcsuzu spoke to one of the workers on Saturday and he confirmed that once they have completed reinstating the site, they will be handing the site back to Singapore Land Authority (SLA).

The golf driving range project has faced many delays since the developer won the tender for the project. In January 2008, Punggol.org emailed the developer and was told that they will complete the project by September. There have been several complaints received on the sand stockpile as well.
